Senior Tweets

2020 has been a tough year for many in the Orange County community, but few have had to deal with the level of heartbreak that the affects of the coronavirus has thrust upon the area’s high schools seniors. But despite cancelled proms, sporting events, plays and music performances, this group of teenagers has held their heads high and shown poise and dedication. The present may be unfair to them, but the future is brighter because of them.

Beginning May 13, the News of Orange County will feature messages to those high school seniors that were delivered by ‘tweets’ from members of the Orange County community. Senior Tweets is an effort to pay tribute to an impressive group of young adults who are preparing for the next stage of their lives.

The schedule will take place as follows:

May 13: Cedar Ridge High School

May 20: Orange High School

May 27: Eno River Academy and Partnership Academy

The response has been tremendous. If you are a business owner and would like to show your support for the Orange County Schools’ Class of 2020 with a display ad, please contact the News of Orange County by calling 919-732-2171.
