North State Bank recently announced Hillsborough resident Heather Sirgany as senior vice president and mortgage sales development manager.

“As a former loan officer and sales trainer, Heather has the expertise to share with our mortgage loan officers to enhance their understanding of all financing options available,” said Chief Mortgage Sales Officer Shannon Reaves. “With more options at their disposal, our lenders are even better able to empower borrowers to become homeowners.”

With over 20 years of lending experience, Sirgany most recently served as a sales manager for TowneBank Mortgage. Prior to that, she held mortgage lending, management and sales development at various banks.

She is an alumna of The College of William and Mary where she earned a bachelor’s in business administration with a major in finance. Sirgany is a graduate of the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Durham program and earned the Peak Performer award at RBC Bank.

She volunteers her time with the North Carolina High School Athletic Association as a swimming official, as well as with PORCH and the United Way.

“Nothing is more important in the home buying process than having an experienced and honest mortgage lender in your corner,” said Sirgany. “My focus is to grow North State’s mortgage lending services by having the best team in the business.”

Founded in 2000, North State Bank is an independent, full-service community bank serving Wake and New Hanover counties through seven full-service offices.
